From smallmouth on Dale Hollow to largemouth on Kentucky Lake, here are the best ramps by region.
Nashville Area
Middle Tennessee revolves around the Cumberland River and its tributaries. Fate Sanders Marina on Old Hickory Lake offers excellent launching with good parking. Percy Priest Lake has multiple Corps of Engineers ramps — Cook Recreation Area and Poole Knobs are among the best. Cheatham Dam on the Cumberland provides great striper and catfish access.

Knoxville & East Tennessee
East Tennessee sits at the heart of the TVA system. Fort Loudoun Lake and Tellico Lake offer excellent bass fishing with well-maintained ramps. The Kentucky Lake / Lake Barkley corridor in western Tennessee is a nationally recognized bass destination. Paris Landing State Park has a modern multi-lane ramp with excellent facilities. Buchanan Resort Area and New Johnsonville also offer good access. Bass tournaments run here year-round.
Dale Hollow & Center Hill
Dale Hollow Lake holds the world-record smallmouth bass (11 lbs 15 oz, caught 1955). Willow Grove Recreation Area and Lillydale Recreation Area have great launches. Center Hill Lake near Cookeville is another excellent smallmouth fishery with multiple Corps ramps.
